Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr was first noticed in the year 1990, with the Celtic rock group The Corrs, alongside Caroline Sharon Jim. Andrea Corr is an Irish singer musician songwriter and actor. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was presented to her. She is more well-known as the Celtic pop rock group The Corrs. The singer also sings with the band, and can play multiple instruments. Andrea began her career acting in 1991. Later, she became a musician and stage artist. She voiced for the Warner Bros. 1998 animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea has a total of six studios albums to her name, along with two compilation albums as well as four live albums, and one mix album. She has also received recognition for her charity work. Andrea along with her husband who is a stockbroker have two children. Andrea began her lessons in music by learning to play the Tin whistle. Gerry helped her learn to play piano. Andrea also plays the ukulele. Her teenage years were spent perfecting her musical abilities. She teamed up with siblings and brothers to be the lead singer of the group. Andrea was a student at the Dun Lughaidh Convent,' where she was a frequent participant in school-related performances.
