Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 151976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian primary school. As for her secondary educationWard was a student at Ouachita Parish High School, but she moved to River Oaks High School on the last day of her senior year. There she was a member of the dance and drill team. Following her graduation, she attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward quit school at 13 and moved in New York so that she could begin modeling. She had the idea to attempt acting after a couple of years. In the 1970s, she first appeared in an uncredited part in the soap-opera All My Children and was later cast in the short-lived NBC prime-time teen-drama Malibu Shores. Ward landed her first part on the Sunset Beach daytime soap opera and portrayed the virginal Meg Cummings. She began her film career and starred in The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. It was a theatrical not a success, but it did have some popularity on both DVD and cable. Ward later played a pivotal support role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. Alongside her direct-to-DVD role, Ward made numerous guest appearances on television programs like Friends. The role as Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 in which she played the mom of a girl on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. In her personal life she got married to director David C. Robinson and she had a son called Cameron and David.
